Hello all I recently had the rear drive unit replaced on my 2024 Ford Maverick XLTAWD tow, it has fixed most of my issues, but I’m still having a clunk when shifting every hundred shifts or so, it feels like it’s below my seat or the backseat and no, there’s nothing under the backseat in the compartment.
Bottom line is I’m looking PTU fluid and transmission fluid just to be sure everything’s OK. The Ford quick lane is telling me that they can only do a flush and not a drain and fill but other shops are saying they can do a drain and fill. Ive heard bad things from flushes, should I trust ford or go to my other shop?

Goto the other shop! You don't want to flush an 8F35 trans. It has a sealed internal filter that you cannot change without dropping the transmission and tearing it down, so a flush is definitely the wrong move. Make sure they use Mercon ULV fluid and nothing else! Here is a great video of the 8F35.

Your dealer/quicklane doesn't know what they are talking about...

You can drain and fill the transmission, but do not flush it. The PTU is a drain and fill too (PTU is maybe a 20 minute job tops).
