Trailer Hitch Issue - parking assist goes off constantly

Received Area51 Lariat Friday and in general love the truck, but I ran into a problem leaving a receiver hitch and ball installed, the parking assist goes off constantly, I always leave trailer hitch installed in case I need it and to provide a stop when unloading the truck. not a show stopper but it does not happen on my 2020 Ranger. Looks like they installed the parking sensor too close together.

I don’t have that issue? I have just a standard 1” drop hitch with a 2” ball.
What kind of hitch is it is it a cumbersome one or something?

I think it's a 3" drop 2" rise and it's flipped up, so nothing unusual, standard hitch. But I will test out some of my other combos (only have 5 or six) to see if they work.

Does the rear parking alert stop if you change to "Tow Haul" mode?
