My dealer did a software update on the instrument cluster, fixed
Wonder if using forscan could fix that issue.
That's the problem these days, mechanics almost have to be computer techs to fix these issues (good thing I am).....

Possibly. The tech I spoke to suggested it was as simple as the 4K software patch not being uploaded onto the cluster at build. If the patch could be found I would think it could be uploaded

There is a beta 2.4 version of FORScan that that can write firmware to modules. I have updated some of the modules in my 2010 Fusion with it. But be warned, it is beta and I bricked a module with it once and had to purchase a replacement module

My dealer did the update few months ago and that didn’t fix it, so frustating.
Trailer Brake Recall. My dealer coming to my home to fix the issue via reprogramming. That sure beats sitting in the waiting room for a couple of hrs. Akins Ford is the best!
