Traded in for Mach E

Interesting, During first winter with my 23 Mav Hybrid I ran into a guy at Walmart parking lot. He approached me. He had a Mach E. Said he had a hybrid Mav on order. He said he hated the mach E and the range was awful in the winter. To each there own I guess.

I cannot fathom why Ford took the name of its top performance car, BTW the Mustang GTD did the ring in under 7 minutes and that’s where super cars play.

Ford put the Mustang name on an EV !
I’d fire everyone who was in on that decision and everyone who didn’t try to stop it.

At least they didn’t name the Maverick Pinto.

The Mac E is a good looking EV but it’s no Mustang.

We had a MachE for about 18 months but ended up selling it back to Ford due to lack of confidence in the charging infrastructure for road trips. Replaced it with an Outlander PHEV that has enough EV range for most of our local driving!

Honestly, keeping my Maverick and getting a second vehicle would’ve been ideal but eventually I’ll get a used pick up probably an F150.

If I had been able to test drive a Maverick a few years ago I probably would have bought it then. Then I could have been open to an EV car like the Mach-e. But for me only an EV doesn't work.

I bought a nice sedan 17 months ago, so I'm at 2 newish vehicles. So no EV for years now.

As of now our two cars are the Honda CRV and Mach E. We are on a road trip now from the top of NJ to the shore. So far so good. If we have to do super long distances we’ll just take the CRV or rent a vehicle.

The Mach E is an interesting creature.

But that much name alone is enough for the hint; it makes no more sense to actually use the equine name than it would have on what ended up being renamed "Probe" before it went to market!

Someone really needs to sell "Fauxstng" lettering.

And it's a disgrace that MCA accepted it!

What's he gonna do, play the "My name's on the front of the building I can call it what I damn well like." card ?

More like, "I have more than a third of a billion dollars in stock, and even more voting rights than that, and can tip the board election."
