It is with great remorse that I sent my last message on the Maverick forum as I have traded it in for a Mustang Mach E Premium AWD. After going back-and-forth to Ford for the past few weeks about the same issue, I decided if they thought it was good enough to get back to me. I’ll just trade it in for something else that was newer.
I’m gonna miss this little truck, but hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy the Mustang just as much as I enjoyed the Maverick.

Honestly, keeping my Maverick and getting a second vehicle would’ve been ideal but eventually I’ll get a used pick up probably an F150.

We had thought about a Mach-e for the wife. Range anxiety steered us into a plug-in Escape.

It’s crossed my mind to trade for a used 23 Mach E and pocket some cash in the process.

I just like the Mav too much
Love the Maverick too, but going back-and-forth with Ford about the CV axle stuff which they did replace both sides, but then they said that I was hearing noise coming from my tires when I told them that there was rubbing coming from underneath the engine they never said anything or addressed it so rather than me deal with a car whose warranty was about to expire in 1000 miles I decided to trade it in

Totally understand. If I experience any significant issues I won’t hesitate to send mine on its way as well.

Used Mach E will still be high on the list

Hi twinsie with the twin pack  Got an Escape PHEV and just picked up the Maverick.

Must admit the Mach E was under vague consideration at some points, especially when seeing them going for 20k not very used.

Sorry to hear about your Mavericks repeated issues and that you have traded it in for a Mach E. I have been fortunate to not have had any issues so far with my 2023 Maverick but I did also add a 2023 Mach E premium AWD to my stable. If you have the 220V nearby and a stage two charger at home, life with the Mach E should be a blast. (I really like the one pedal driving and built in video games to play while waiting) I wish you the best of luck and will watch for your name to pop up in the Mach E club. I included a pic of mine.

I cannot fathom why Ford took the name of its top performance car, BTW the Mustang GTD did the ring in under 7 minutes and that’s where super cars play.

Ford put the Mustang name on an EV !
I’d fire everyone who was in on that decision and everyone who didn’t try to stop it.

At least they didn’t name the Maverick Pinto.

The Mac E is a good looking EV but it’s no Mustang.

Wish I could afford a Mustang and the trailer needed.

I actually talked with Ford Reps at a Mustang event and asked why they didn't use the Name Maverick on the Mach E and use the Original Ford small trucks name of "Courier" on the Maverick.
I was told it was a management and marketing decision based on the fact that when the Mustang entered the car world, it was groundbreaking, and they hoped to share that energy with the Mach E. The Mach E has a different style "Running Horse" Logo but I haven't found the actual word Mustang any place on the vehicle.
