I was just wondering how the delays will affect possible trade-in or sales in the future. Some have gotten their '22 Mav in late '21, but if lucky, I'll get my '22 in late '22. So two identical builds will be actually a year different, but on Paper they are the same year. Does anyone actually check the date the vehicle was built? I almost would like mine in Nov with a '23 tag on it.

Ok I'd actually like mine tomorrow!:(

I doubt it will make much difference. It is more about mileage than model year (unless major features change between two model years).

Nobody really knows. But honestly, given the manic demand for Mavericks, and the low production capacity of the Hermosillo plant, I wouldn't worry about Maverick trade-in value for the next year or two. After that the tea leaves get all blurry.

Predicting the future is hard. So take any advice anyone gives you here with a giant grain of salt. Including mine.
