Thanks for posting these videos! I have a Revolver X4s, but I haven't installed it yet, because Ford hasn't blessed me with my Maverick yet! With these two helpful videos I'll make sure to address these area when I do the install.
Did you get your Maverick yet? Mine arrived 2 weeks after being built and I'm loving it.

Still in Maverick purgatory! It's sitting in Phoenix waiting to be trucked down to Tucson! ☹

It has been brought to my attention that there have been complaints of water intrusion into their Maverick’s with a tonneau cover installed. While our manufacturers and other manufacturers on the market design these covers to keep out as much water as possible, no cover will be 100% waterproof. There are multiple scenarios that can cause water intrusion, from the style of the tonneau cover to the way it’s installed. The most common leaking issue we have identified is a result of how the bed rails/caps/bulkhead on the Maverick are designed. Todd, who does our install videos (a familiar face if you watched videos on our site) owns a Maverick as well and has come across these issues as well. He has been working hard to try and find solutions to the leakage issue into the bed and I have a couple of videos here that show what he has done.

The first video explains where water leakage has occurred in Todd's Maverick and some solutions he has come up with -

This second video I am throwing in because it seems to be an occurrence as well with some gaps on the X4s Todd was able to come up with a solution that does help seal this up some more -

While we recognize these solutions will not entirely work for everyone, there is a multitude of scenarios that can cause leaking, we have found that these steps to be tremendously helpful in real-life applications.
I must have taken my Ford OEM Softcover roll up off a million times in the last few days. Anyway after heavy rain yesterday (and me testing it this morning) water was coming in the spots Todd Identified. I just bought some clear silcone and sealed up those spots, and shoved some putty near the leaks in the bulkhead corners. I fully expect some water from the rear bulkhead corners, but not the side where Todd did the weather stripping.

I'm going to let it all dry and cur overnight and report back.

Todd have you done anything since you posted the video

I have the trifold hard cover and what has helped mine most is increasing the drain tube size to 1/2 inch. Still leaks but not as much.
I have the Ford hard tri-fold also - installed by my local dealer and have no issues.

Great video. Thank you. This video should be sent to the cover companies. For $1200.00 the cover should not leak at all 4 corners. Let them fix the problem.
Now you have really thought this through right? You want a flat roof that folds or rolls that is not attached to anything stationary so it can be removed and the serface it sits on moves and shakes to be totally water tight for $1200 and not $12000. I doubt your house roof leaks less.

O
I have the gator Soft trifold and don't Have a problem with any leakage but I also added extra weather stripping at the front And tailgate seal And take a guess on where I bought it Haha
Has anyone had problem with water damming up behind rear window and leaking into cab after adding extra "weatherstripping" seals to stop leaks into bed? The videos by Todd from RealTruck seem to be a solution to help minimize leaks into bed, but I'm concerned that water will find a way to seep under the rear window seal during a heavy prolonged rain.

Going into my 3rd year with mine now and haven't hadn't any issues and these last 12 months in Maine have seen ALOT of rain.

My only problem I have is some one on the highway kicked a rock and cracked my windshield..... I didn't notice at the time because it was nighttime so I didn't see it till a few.days later.

Thanks to all who've responded; I put the Gator SFX soft tri-fold tonneau cover on yesterday around noon, then with the tailgate down visually inspected under the cover looking for "daylight" coming in. There were areas at both front corners that were not tight enough to keep daylight out. So I applied EPDM rubber weatherstripping custom cut to size to fill those voids just where the tonneau gasket touched the bed, leaving a path for water to run off the bed hopefully rather into the bed. The Yellow lines in pic are where the EPDM strips were applied; the Green arrow is hopefully where rain water will escape away from the bed.
One thing I noticed is that the bedrail
"indentation" that's about 8 inches back from the cab isn't the same size on both side of truck. Weird.
Also, the front clamps on the cover aren't close enough to front corners to really get the corners nice and tightly sealed. A way to clamp the corners more securely would be a benefit. That is gonna take some creative thinking.
