Put in my order in September 2022 XLT hybrid, lux pkg, cp360, spray in bed liner. Called my dealer to add the bed utility pkg and order floor matts ahead of time. They couldn't find my order, when they finally did I was told I’ll be waiting for a 2024. Anyone else hear similar? If not id be calling your dealers to check.

All you have to do is look at postings from people who got build dates 2 days ago. There are a ton of hybrids that got June build dates. Sounds like your dealer had you at a 19 or so and not doing his job.

I think it's true your odds would be better with an ecoboost -- but I'm also not a fan of spending new-vehicle money (even if the Maverick is inexpensive comparatively) for something that isn't exactly what you want. Like, if it was me, I'd probably play the odds.

But it's also easy for me to say that since I already have my truck.

I don't know what to think after this past week. Anything can happen.

We have two on order with the same dealer a hybrid and EB. They are both well configured XLTs, but no current constraints.

The Hybrid was ordered on 9/15 and the EB on 9/19

The Hybrid was a Priority 19 and the EB was a 13, this was verified a few weeks ago. I have no idea why (didn't ask)... they were both 19s in September and the EB was a 13 in December when I added the SIBL.

The Hybrid gets scheduled Thursday.

I stopped by my dealer to chat about any Maverick deliveries they have been getting in. I saw three 23-model Broncos out on their lot and a few other 23 pickups so they are getting new trucks.

I asked the Salesman if they have been or will be getting any Mavericks in. He kinda smiled and then caught himself, Oh you had to order one of those earlier in the year he says.

Yeah I know, I did, and was just wondering if any of the ones they ordered ever showed up. He checked with the sales manager on my order, Not Scheduled. I know that but has anyone gotten a Maverick from this dealership? He finally got my point.

Oh, we have had about one a month come in so far he says. OK, that lets me know they have allocations perhaps. Maybe they are being taken by those worthless Broncos out there I thought to myself.

He asked if I was contacted to switch from the hybrid to the EcoBoost. No, I did not get a call from them to do that, I am only interested in the Hybrid.

He looks at me and says OH you'll get it, they are ramping up and building lots more of them now. Seriously Sir? Ford took twice as many orders as they planned to build. I doubt they will be building them all.

Overall I think he was somewhat aware of the problem but tried to be encouraging just the same. At least I know I still might possibly and perhaps have a chance at getting mine.

I ordered a Lariat Hybrid fully loaded on the second day it was open. The dealer gave me a priority code 10. It was built 3/7, shipped on 3/10 and reached my dealer 3/21. The secret is in the dealer allocations and the priority code.

IF (big IF there) they actually placed an order on your behalf, I think you've got about 50/50 odds of getting a Hybrid in 2023. But if you change to EB, your odds would improve to almost 100%, since they still plan to build a LOT more EBs than they have orders for at the moment.

Only you can decide if you want to roll the dice on a hybrid, or "settle" for the Ecoboost. Either way, you'd be getting a great truck!

People with documentation of an order that does not get built; SHOULD be able to buy one off a lot at MSRP. The paperwork SHOULD be your "coupon" to avoid ADM.

I'm sure like 10% of orders never get picked up.

Start a petition or social media PR campaign or something?
