Hey everyone and thanks ahead of time!

I've put over 20k miles on my Maverick so far and I'm at 5/32 and curious according to my recent inspection the other day.

I'm sure I can go until the next inspection but I'm going to be putting a good amount of miles on them over the next 2-3 months with commuting for work.

Curious if anyone has any good tire recommendations for when the time comes? I've got a 2023 Hybird XLT for reference.

I like the factory continentals on our ecoboost. We live in upper michigan, they perform well in snow and at 31,000 miles still have plenty of tread so they wear well. If the price is competitive I will use them for replacement when the time comes.

If not off roading, Michelin defender 2 is the quietest tire out there in my opinion. Highly recommend

I recently got the Firestone Destination AT/2s for my XL Eco. They've been very quiet and only about a 1 MPG drop in fuel economy, however I'm happy with that considering the better grip.

I love my Michelin Defender 2 tires. I put a set on at QuickLube, after checking Tire Rack, my dealership, and multiple tire shops. From memory, the installed price was way under $1,000. I want to say it was $750 installed after a $100 military discount. Might have been $850 - just don't recall.

The Michelins don't squeal on cloverleafs like the OEMs did. They have deep tread. They feel great. I'm ridiculously happy with them.

My experience was that it pays to call around. There was a $500 price spread between various installed quotes for the same set of tires.

I am running custom wheels on my <4 month old Lariat. I am going to try these tires when the OEMs are worn down just a thought, not a solid recommendation; Goodyear Eagle RS-A Police 245 _55 R18 103V SL VSB FC:

The Eagle RS-A Police tire offers controlled handling with reduced road noise, so your ride is equal parts capable and comfortable.

With its all-season tread compound and pattern, it can handle the road regardless of the weather.

Its shoulder tread block design and wide lateral grooves enhance traction and yield superb cornering.

For optimal tread life, performance and traction, this tire rolls off the production line with 11/32” of tread.

If my continental tires go 35,000 miles i will probably buy some more when time comes.they ride good, handle good, seem to be quiet enough, why take a chance on different tire if these work just fine!

You see the UTQG (life) rating on those? Maybe look at the Enforcer AW?

https://gov.goodyear.com/docs/police/goodyear_eagle_enforcer_family.pdf

HRG
numbers are hocus-pocus. From Goodyear:
" Goodyear backs these tires with a 6-year/60,000-mile tread life warranty, ensuring that you’ll get plenty of mileage out of them before needing a replacement set. Additionally, the tires are covered by a road hazard warranty that protects against damage from potholes, nails, and other road debris for the first year of ownership. " The top-of-the-line Continental is an option.

My 2014 F150 came with Bridgestone Duelers on it. At 68,000 I got a nail in 1 so I replaced 2 tires. I replaced the other 2 at 78,000. I sold the truck to a family member with 154,000 on it and they put Goodyear blackwall Wranglers on it because they cost less than the Bridgestone. At 175,000 miles he said they tires are half worn out. After seeing many complaints on here about the factory Continentals I am glad my Lariat has Michelins.
So 80,000 miles on a set of tires? Quite the stretch......the continentals on our 23 maverick have lots of tread left at 31,000 miles, should easily go 50,000 miles or more before replacement.

Going 80,000 is nothing if your on the right roads, and drive right.
I drive right but only get about 30-35,000 on any tire, AT AS or what ever.
Because I’m turning so very often up here In my Appalachian Mountains. Most people up here are happy to hit 30,000
I like my Stock Michelin Primacy AS,
My Yokohama Geolandar 015’s were great on my 2021 Bronco Sport.
And on my 2004 Escape my Faulkin Rubutrek’s are doing just fine.
