Hi all,

I just switched out my stock tires up to a set of Falken Wildpeak AT Trail @ 245/65/R17. I was wondering what psi everyone was running these at, should I keep filling them up to 35 psi?

The tires themselves are going to list either 50 or 51 PSI max. But that isn't what you should do. Haha.

Check out https://tiresize.com/pressure-calculator/

If I entered everything correctly (this is based on the stock Continental procontact tires), they claim you can go down to 30 PSI if you want.

OEM Size (225/65R17 SL) Load Capacity: 1821 lbs. @ 35 psi.

New Size (245/65R17 SL) Load Capacity: 1847 lbs. @ 30 psi.

The number actually doesn't change if you claim the Falken are SL versus XL load rated.
