A pack of wet wipes is much more useful than a roll of TP!

Really like the build - did the 12v switch panel in the bed come as is or did you put it together yourself? What do the switches control? Links?
The switch panel was obtained as is from Amazon. Right now the truck bed LED strips are tied into one switch. Another is set aside to control a set of 3" LED pods that will be mounted as work lights underneath both corners of the rear bumper. The others are just extra capacity for now with no firm plans. It didn't cost me anything so why not use it.

You may recall that my '22 VB XLT hybrid was lost in an accident before my first year was up. I was fortunate in finding a '23 iconic silver XLT as an immediate replacement. I have spent some time installing those items I was able to recover from my first Maverick and repeating a number of mods on my 2d. I have an order in on a '24 with the color and options I really want. The insurance from the lost truck covered the purchase of my temp. I'm hoping prices or trade-in values hold long enough to cover my 3rd and final Maverick.

This is my list of what I have completed on this truck. Nothing major, just a bunch of bits and pieces to make it mine. I can't say I'm really looking forward to repeating everything again when the '24 makes its appearance.

Seriously, why not keep the incredibly well appointed truck you’ve got? You’ve obviously put a LOT of work and care into it. It looks great! I’ve invested quit a lot into mine and can’t even imagine doing it all over again. I’ve also added wireless charging and CarPlay.

"And the Winner Is ,,, " No contest. My head was spinning in trying to read thru the list. 1,128 items to build the Maverick - 1,224 items to upgrade the Maverick, so I's say this guy is the winner LOL.

Seriously, I think you are prepared for the road. Now, please don't ruin it and tell us you only drive 4,500 miles annually and it stays in the garage the rest of the time.

My current Maverick is an XLT with no additional options . The ‘24 I have on order includes the luxury package which adds a number of features my wife wanted. I’m looking to the switch to get the safety features of the Ford 360 option and in the color, Atlas Blue, I prefer. I will possibly hold the truck I have now, which is PIF, if values for used Mavericks fall off the cliff.

Wow that is a serious amount of stuff you have added to your Maverick!! Some of gear I was wondering about (medical kits etc.), but when I saw the picture of the Ranger badge then it made more sense to me. I was in the Air Force and certainly didn't receive a lot of medical training, but the bit that I did receive has stuck with me and I have carried a small kit with me in most of my vehicles, especially my Harley. Thanks for your Service and thanks again for the list of everything you've added to your Maverick, I'm working my way through it to see how many my Amazon cart can hold! 😆

Good luck with Amazon. I have to make a confession. Much of what has gone on my Maverick came from Amazon. I was invited to become a member of Amazon’s Vine Program. It’s not a secret, but few are aware of it. I know I wasn’t. Membership is restricted to those invited by Amazon based upon their evaluation of product reviews previously completed by the individual prior to membership. Sellers offer up to Amazon one or more of their products they would like subjected to a blind customer review. Vine members may select a limited number of those items for the express purpose of writing an independent review. There is no contact with the seller and Amazon does not edit the reviewer’s work. The reviewer keeps the item with restrictions on using the items as gifts, selling them, or passing them on to others. There is no up front cost to the reviewer. For tax purposes, the IRS views the item’s value as income to the reviewer. Amazon tracks the value of products received and reports annually to the IRS. Bottom line, I pay a portion of the value of what I have obtained through the program at the end of the year in taxes.

Availability of products for the Maverick are the first thing I search for. I wish I could direct what products become available through the program. If that were the case, my list of what has been done to my Maverick would be even more expansive. Good luck with your build.

Do you have a public "wishlist" of all the Amazon things you bought? So we don't have to search for each of them individually?

I have tried to keep a source list of the accessories and modification items I have used in personalizing my current Maverick. I’m not sure I have captured everything, and some items are repeated because of an accident and subsequent repairs. To prevent a heart attack, I don’t keep a running cost. Any total cost would be deceiving. Those items marked Vine were obtained through Amazon’s Vine Review Program. I don’t have an upfront out of pocket cost to obtain them. Rather, at the end of the tax year, the value of what I received is reported to the IRS as additional income. I will pay the incremental additional tax on that total.
