Why did you move the bed cubby to the driver's side? I presume convenience. Do you access the bed cubby right after you get out of the truck a lot? Or is there another reason?

Was it difficult? How long did it take? What was involved? Seems like it might be a useful idea. I imagine I'd use the cubby way more than the outlet.

Other than replacing the Pirellis with winter tires in the fall, I've completed my mods.
Lo Pro Tonneau cover installed:

I also moved the bed cubby from the passenger side to the driver's side and installed splash guards on the front and back.
Nice! Im trying to decide between the Ford bed mat and tailgate cover and the bedrug impact bed mat https://accessories.ford.com/products/bedrug-impact-bed-mat-with-tailgate-cover-for-4-5-bed

Being right handed, I find it easier to access the cubby on the driver's side. I keep my work gloves in it so I use it everyday. I' m told it also helps keep some of the mud from accumulating on the back of the driver's side taillights.

It was very easy to do. You must remove the lower tie downs on both sides to make the swap as the cubby won't clear them. It's a ten minute job.

I can only speak for myself, but yes, I use the cubby way more than the power outlets.

I want to turn mine into a modern day cyclone. Fun/daily that can run 13s if I hit the local tracks up.

Let’s see some links for those nice accessories! Need a tailgate cover and bed mat.

So it can sit in my garage and take up space, as I have no Maverick, yet!
I'd suggest investing in something a little high end. This tonneau cover here, made by Retrax, has T-slots built into the sides. Which will allow you to combine the tonneau cover with bed accessories (like the Yakima ones Ford has on the configurator for the Mav). This is the route I eventually plan on going down, that way I don't have to deal with more complex setups. In regards to the bed mat, you can actually get the same bed mat as the OP directly from Ford - can be found here.

Where did you get the tailgate cover?
