My dealer did not mark up my price, gave me the offered "stop whining 'cuz we didn't build a MY22 and you got a MY23" hush money. Kept me up to date on any news, good or bad. Assisted me with the best interest rate available...

I am SO PISSED! (nothing to complain about)

I am still looking for that type of dealer near me. Also one that won't hack up my factory wiring to install a Karr Alarm or GPS.

Funny to see the GM trying to do damage control. An unfortunate mistake... It was placed with stock inventory and sold.... ha ha yeah sure it was.

I wonder how they will rectify it? Probably offer to put in a 2024 order and let the customer have it for MSRP.

—I worked for a ford dealership after an ordered my 2023 Ford Maverick. I can tell you that the dealership knows the difference between a custom order and an inventory vehicle by the color of the MSRP on the window sticker. Blue means it’s for inventory and green means it’s a custom order. If it’s green then it also says CUSTOM on the window sticker!! In my humble opinion, the dealership knew exactly what they were doing to Mr Gierz custom ordered Ford Maverick. And it’s about time that either the FORD Company or the consumers take it to the next step!!! FORD Dealership owner(s) are pompous, arrogant Hell bound buttholes who need a swift kick where it hurts….their deep (political driven) pockets! JMHO, K. Jason Gough

They absolutely know the difference between a stock and custom order. It's right on the Ford Window sticker as you mentioned. It's now what you know but who you know. In one of the motorhome facebook groups I follow the guy magically shows up with a new 22 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid after he just started shopping. Turns out his uncle owned a Ford dealership. He wanted to flat tow it. But then to add insult to injury he gave the truck to his wife as a daily driver as she liked it more than her Tesla. He never did use it as a toad.

I was Motor pool supply. Yet there got shot at since motor pool was on perimeter of base, and took mortars with lights at night.
2nd half of 69 and all of 70. Did a 6 month extension to get out of Army early. Thought I might not do well serving on a base back in the US after having an E6 and a Warrant do me dirty in Vietnam.

Back on subject, I put these door handle protectors on my Maverick to avoid fingernail scratches. Got them from Amazon.

There was a guy on here who had his sold out from under him in January at Ted Russell Ford in Tennessee. Dealer told him it was on hold for a recall and through the collective mind of the MTC it was discovered that one of the salesmen sold the truck to his cousin and the GM "didn't know" at the time it was sold to the wrong person. The member said the dealer was helping him out after they were raked through the coals and review bombed. He never gave us an update if he actually got a truck or not.

...underriner honda in billings, mt. They also sold my vehicle i ordered & had put a deposit on during covid. Salesman tried to help me but management made more money selling my vehicle a a lucrative profit...and basically told me to F off...
