We live in a more rural area of TN, and the nearest city of 10K people is nine miles away. For the last year we have been seeing more and more Mavs, both individual owners and business ones with logos, on our roads. Our local Ford dealer says they are selling tons of them and have about ten on the lot for sale as we write.

Seeing another Maverick is becoming pretty much commonplace in my area, but I still look for them, because I love how the Maverick looks. It's a beautiful truck.
My wife and I still point them out on the road as well even though they are much more prevalent.

The only vehicles with high import taxes were Chinese vehicles, but that was in lock step with the US before we became the target of someone who is ignorant of how the auto industry manufactured vehicles in North America.
About 15 years ago, I rode with a couple from Canada that had their Harley die out west. He said that he had to buy a used bike because either he could not bring a new one into Canada, or the taxes would be too high (can't remember which).
Your right about the ignorance. . .

Went to our local mom and pop hardware/garden center. Usually find a lot of older F150s, tundras, and Silverados with an occasional big diesel Ram thrown in. This time there were 4 mavericks! 3 lariats and my xlt. The Mavericks out numbered the Tundras! Mind you this is not a big box store, but a well loved local hardware store where you can still find almost anything. People have been coming here for decades, a real local institution.

You used to never see another Maverick. Now there are 3 in my neighborhood. 1 XL and 2 Lariats, not counting my XLT. One other note. All were 25 or newer and hybrids. My 24 was the only one with the more "normal" grill :).
I live in Sun City Arizona , and there are train tracks nearby and a rail yard where I assume they stage vehicles for shipping to various parts of the world, row upon row, upon row of Mavericks and Bronco Sports . Then Saturday, on the I-10 south of Phoenix , feeding that rail yard in a brief jaunt going south , truck after truck loaded with same, I stopped counting at 25 , 7 vehicles on each , I assume the Hermosillo plant in Mexico is going full blast turning these trucks out!!! ( Also got my first look at the baby blue Maverick , not hating it )

Pulled up to a 4 way intersection last week and 2 of the other 3 streets had only a Maverick at the light. After having to order my 2023 without ever having a chance to test drive a Mav and then switch from hybrid to Eco to make delivery of ANY Mav likely and THEN wait 8 months for delivery it finally is looking normal purchase and delivery processes have arrived. Prices sure have climbed though. But with gas prices where they are I imagine demand will stay high, especially with still no competing models.

Yeah, same for me. Back in '23 I'd stop and talk to the very rare Maverick driver and we'd
commiserate about the long wait and the ordering process and now the Mavs are all over the place.
I used to make a point to wave at other
Maverick drivers and sometimes they would wave at me first. When I bought my first Mav back in March 2022, I would often go a month or more between seeing another Mav. Now I often see at least 2-3 a day.

Even though I see 2 or 3 a day, I still wave at fellow Mavericks!

My 22 Maverick just made another 1000 mile road trip from Abington Pennsylvania to Daytona Florida. We saw many mavericks on our trip and I still like to pointing out the other mavericks. I will not be trading in my 22xl for a newer or higher trim maverick, I'm still enjoying my first Gen.

Ever notice; you buy a new car, and all of a sudden you notice a LOT of that model on the roads? Not so for the Mav until maybe recently.
A few years ago we came up on a Ford pickup, and I said to my wife "what's that?" Got close enough to see the "Maverick" on the back, and thought "that was a 70's CAR! Now we own one and love it. The perfect size, and easy to get in/out of it.
I'd only trade if they come out with an all electric Maverick. All our drives are local, and we have solar on our house, so there would be zero expense for fuel.

That's so true! I've noticed that as well, everytime I purchase or look at a new vehicle. And I found out about the Mavericks the same way! Never heard about them or seen advertisements and one day I saw a "mini" truck and never saw the badges. Then about a week later I seen another one and was able to see the tailgate and started looking online for any info on them. I found this chat during that time and never joined the chat because I didn't have one yet. I knew so much about them before I finally was able to get one. I'm still so stoked about finally getting into a Mav. Middle of next month it'll be a full year of ownership and almost 15,000 miles and the girlfriend and I love it! Last week we went to a diner and a older gentleman in a nice F150 started asking me questions about it. He said he might have to trade his F150 in for one. Still don't see any on the lots in my area though. They seem to go very quickly still.
