Finally got the time for putting the exhaust on the Lobo. Made for a good father's day project with dad. The quick version, im in LOVE. The truck finally sounds like it looks (at least in my head).

Shipping was quick, and service even reached out to me to ensure I did not have a GPF on my model Lobo. My only minor complaint was some buildup from factory in the pipes. Everything else was 10/10 on the Thermal R&D production side.

I've installed a number of exhaust over the years, this one was the easiest/fastest ever (only took 1 beer, and the 2nd beer to admire the work) . Easily taken off from Ford, even easier install from Thermal. Slapped it on piece by piece, adjusted angles, and tightened it up. DONE

Sound is perfect for me. Daily drive it for work, and typically run in LOBO mode. Its loud when it needs to be, and reasonable at idle/cruising. If you want to hear it, punch it. Need to take a phone call, just cruise and you hear fine. No drone, no overdoing it.

Fully back this exhaust system. Hard to shop around when you can only listen to videos. That said, video files are too large. Ill find a way to post them here for sample

I installed a Thermal exhaust on a customer's Explorer ST, thought it looked good and had a good sound. Definitely an easy install, too.

It looks like you’re sacrificing some ground clearance with that setup. That’s a hard no for me.

I agree. The turn-down version is better as far as interfering with departure angle, but I don't like how much lower it seems under the RDU. I might consider the one that exits in front of the rear tire though.

EDIT: I was thinking thermal had one with that configuration, but now I don't see it. Maybe I'm confusing Thermal with another vendor?

Tried that. Only way I can make it work is on the lowest possible camera setting for less that 10 sec. But screws up the audio. Ill figure it out eventually lol

You're going to hate it when i get the lowering springs installed on it too lol
Nope. I don’t care what you do with your own vehicle. You must have poor reading comprehension if you think I would somehow care.

Don't know what the shots are for. You cared enough to bring your input to my post in the Lobo/Street Truck forum, so i responded. Putting this exhaust on your Lariat wouldn't drop the clearance enough to matter, unless you're just jumping that many curbs or actually running trails. The Lobo is also almost 2" lower than the lariat, so photos may seem significantly lower than what you would see on yours.

If you don't want someone "comprehending" your input, don't make one. Let's keep it nice around here. No need to hate on other's builds ♥

Saying that a modification would significantly reduce ground clearance is not saying I’m hating your build. It’s just stating a fact. Like I said, I don’t care what you do with your truck.
