The guy didn't cover the whole reason for the Lobo, though: its improved handling. It makes me lament the death of print magazines, though. Even 10 years ago, Ford would have had a fleet of Lobos at a road course like Laguna Seca or something, and reviewers would have made instrumented test runs, and they would have compared those numbers to the numbers of a standard Maverick and whatever is considered its competition.
All the Lobo reviews I've seen merely cover the difference in looks and "feel" of the vehicle.
I bought the Lobo because of the look and feel and the price (402A). It needs "real tires" and the torque-vector aspect of the rear dif needs to be available in the normal and sport modes. It should be a normal part of the truck, not only part of a "track-mode". It's a stated feature that really is not available normally. Like having AC that only works if it is 100 degrees outside.
