I ordered mine from Cavender Grande Ford in San Antonio on 7/15. I received the emails from Ford pertaining to production and build date, and I received mine 2/24. The process was easy, professional, and straightforward. I paid MSRP with no dealer markup. I ordered the EcoBoost AWD, Lariat Lux pkg, 4k tow, and 1st Ed. Packages, in Area 51. I opted for all of the safety features, a full sized spare, and wheel locks. I love the adaptive cruise and lane keeping assist features. The truck meets all of my expectations and I’m so happy to have found this club.
It's so good to hear that you had a good experience purchasing your Maverick. We're happy to have you here!

I do not recommend the Viva Auto Group in El Paso. They are adding large ADM to pretty much any new vehicle they receive. they told me it's 30K ADM for a Bronco?!
Yeah I checked with all three El Paso dealers about ordering a Maverick, looking for a deal (I would have bought at invoice) - they were either not forthcoming about any deal or at least Viva did admit they would charge msrp +adm. So I went with Granger for a VERY pleasant buying experience that saved me about 5k off of msrp (3% below invoice deal). I'm happy to do a road trip to save a bunch of bucks.

However, I still need a local dealer for service and warranty work, -- anyone have a recommendation for Service at either Casa, Viva or Shamaley dealerships in El Paso?

I still use Viva for my other cars and RV cause I live on the westside and it's convenient. My Maverick will have to go to Viva eventually too as I have a ton of free coupons for oil change / service etc. I am Leary though as I spoke with the service guys and no one has even brought one in yet. I don't want to be their guinea pig.
Casa is close to Ft. Bliss(if you are stationed there) on Montana, I use them for parts delivery. I would probably give them a try if I wasn't stuck with Viva.

Thanks for the reply. I'm on the westside as well so Casa or Viva would be most convenient. I'd never buy a car from Casa (I have a good friend who did sound for their commercials for a long time and knew a lot about the dealership) but may try them for service, as service depts are or should be different than sales - but I dunno.

You've got your Lariat? I've had mine for a week. We could flip a coin to see who the guinea pig will be. :) I've only seen one Maverick in EP and it had CA plates.

Sj Johnny, we should talk about our local dealership experiences. I am off to a rough start here.

We’ve been driving our silver XL hybrid around Houston and haven’t seen any others. We took her up to Longview and got an average of about 40 MPG. 🤠👍
We just returned from a 2,500 mile round trip to North Carolina. The truck now has over 5k miles on it. Everything is working fine. The oil level is still good and it is averaging 34.8 MPG during the trip.

Just spotted in Katy on 99 (no picture as I was not fast enough) a dark green Maverick with paper plates
Going to assume it was a wrap, was hard to tell because it was semi raining
Maybe it was paint but looked stock otherwise

Was really tempted to exit and make a I turn to try to catch up to ask questions but with the traffic I figured it was not possible

yes it was a maverick, no I wasn’t seeing things

Was it like an Army green color?
