The only real improvements in the 25s were the addition of Sync 4 and port fuel injection to decrease the possibility of valve gunking in the Ecoboost engine; even then, this latter change caused a loss of 12 hp and 3 lbs of torque. Everything else is aesthetics or package configurations, which come down to personal taste. A model redesign could have justified the price increase, but this was a simple refresh and nothing more.
Big changes for 25 are mostly with the Hybrid versions. It basically is like a redesign for the hybrid. AWD, Trailer tow package with brake control, stronger transmission, transmission cooler and different suspension.

3 years ago a dozen eggs cost 1.79; today $4.53.
Milk costs 50% more now than 3 years ago.
5 years ago I bought a Nishiki bike from Dick's for $350. Today the same bike is $600.

Are all of these greedy, evil empire increases, or did a pandemic and an 18 month lock down and supply chain issues cause supply shortages that drove prices up? Combine that with the highest interest rates in 40 years (in a successful effort to avoid a recession), and you get 20%-30% inflation over 3-4 years. Doesn't really sound like excessive greed to me.

Some of it is the natural "Let's add a few more bells & whistles to make a little more profit" type of "greedy" increase as you suggest, but it ain't ALL greed. Nor does it seem to be excessive when you adjust the price of the Maverick for inflation and the things they made standard since 2022.
Show me the tax return. Record profits for the companies that control the global economy during those times, don't forget that. It's all 100% greed. Always has been always will be. The whole "inflation happens" argument is ignorant especially after such massive increases in such a short time from the plandemic.

The Ecoboost got a redesigned head now with port and direct injection.
Twice the injectors, more complexity.
I know why they did it. I’d never heard of carbon on valve problems in any prior Ford 4 bangers.
At least I never had problems.
I did keep up maintenance and always used top tier fuels.

"It's all 100% greed"? Hardly. Greed is certainly a factor, but so are experience, governments, and Supply & Demand.

Every year I become more valuable, because I have another year's experience, so my company gives me a raise. That cost is passed on to consumers. That's not greed; that's loyalty.

When our gov't sets tariffs on products, they're trying to protect American workers. Ford passes those tariffs on to consumers, because they're part of the cost of the vehicle. That's not greed on the gov't's or Ford's part.

When Ford can sell 100k Mavericks, they can afford to make $200 per truck. When they can only sell 50k due to supply chain issues and people being told to stay home, because their gov't was trying to protect them (misguided as it was), Ford still has to pay for the facilities, employees, and other expenses with half the sales, so they need to increase prices/profits. Is it greed or survival?

I don't disagree greed plays a part in all of business, but all business is NOT 100% greed.

Excuses with extra steps.

Point being in this example is that it is the same door with color changes only. From an aesthetic point of view the 40k lariat interior you have the same basic parts with color changes only. There are no additional decoration panels, no additional soft touch parts, nothing unless there is something I'm not seeing.
And my XLT has the same colors as the Lariat, just no B&O logo of course. But considering how garbage the B&O is in my Bronco, I don't want it anyway.

Yes, you can definitely do much better than b&o with a reasonable budget DIY.

I ordered the right Maverick back in 21 but I got our Bronco wrong. ACC that lacks lane centering is really just radar cruise control, and I should've just bought high package and installed a better sound system myself.

As I await my new 2025 Tremor, I realize the Maverick mentality has changed significantly. I became a fan in 2021 when the Maverick was first announced and received one of the first XLT FX4s delivered in Southern California. I'm still driving it today, and it meets all my needs. When I bought it in 2022, I was on a tight budget. Things have improved, and I recently ordered my dream Maverick—the new Tremor. Living in Baja, I have access to vast off-road terrain.

A few weeks ago, I posted how $40,000 is the new normal for Mavericks. Reflecting on this and seeing the comments, I've noticed a shift in pride of ownership. While we're spending more, the recent upgrades have enhanced the vehicle's quality and appeal.

The perception has moved from seeing it as just a cool, affordable truck to recognizing it as a well-engineered vehicle that justifies its higher price.
I am still on a high budget for now i will really love to get mine soon

For sure. My Bronco was a leftover that they had in the showroom (actually drooled over it when I signed for my Mav in August) so it had huge discounts so I just took it. WIsh it was a Sasquatch but oh well. The B&O does sound good for certain genre's of music but man, if there is bass just forget it.

I get plenty of deep accurate base with my B&O system, I've tried Old time R&R, Blues, Classical and Country, I don't do rap or have any desire to make my Mav Thump down the road.

I saw some home boys once in a Low rider ~ Move a little slower ~ They had loosened all the
Chrome trim, the mirrors and the license tag, Everything was vibrating away and fun to watch.
They had it so it would not fall off.

They come rolling up next to me, Thump Thump Thumping, It was so friggin cool LoL.

I had power, and eight inch three way speakers built In the back of my Honda CVCC.
I rolled my windows down and drowned them out with Ted Nugent, Cat scratch Fever.
On my Under Dash Cassette player.
They laughed their asses off. :'P

I cited 3 things that aren't greed that cause prices to go up (and acknowledged greed does too), and you didn't refute any of them. If you think raising the minimum wage won't cause inflation, you don't understand business & math.

You assumed incorrectly (you know what they say about "assuming") I'm in favor of tariffs. My point was only that they can be intended to help American businesses & workers prosper, AND they cause inflation. You didn't refute that, you just tried to belittle my point (and possibly me).

Are you trying to win an argument or have a discussion? You're doing neither.:)

You realize raising the minimum wage will cause massive inflation, right?
You realize the top 1% of wage earners pay 46% of Federal income taxes and the top 10% of wage earners (aka the rich) pay 75% of Federal income taxes, right?
You realize the bottom 50% of wage earners pay 2.3% of Federal income tax, right?
And lastly, how do you intend to end corporate greed? Just curious.
I didnt realize so little people pay taxes. thats so sad truly.
