Lol except that one. A Citroën? Never a fan of anything French? However they are good at rubber products, tires stuff like that.
Yeah I just know that as a weird car although from what I've heard i it was pretty advanced for its time. I'm more of a fan of German cars

Yrs air ride things like that. When I was young my buds had GTOs Chevelles Roadrunners
I had and still have it a 69 Z/28 with the 302. Would eat up a SS 396 at least the 325HP version
Also have a MR2 Spyder? most others liked the Miata. But always wanted a mid engined sports car. If I was wealthy I'd have a c8 Vette.

Because I've ordered one I've been trying to find a positive in it and I think I have.

I still don't like the front end and sometimes Ford misses on their redesigns like the mid 2000s F-Series trucks but regardless of if you like the iteration or not, they tend to "date" the previous models.

Now I think the original Mavs are handsome looking trucks that have that somewhat timeless Ford truck look but now next to the 2025 it looks a little dated.

I guess more than the infusion of plastic fascia that really makes it look bad to me is that it looks just stuck on there with 3M double sided tape.

You want that look? Fine, but just make it one integrated plastic bumper fascia with the existing one.

Here's the truth of the matter (for me anyway). When they announced the redesign, I had to go out and look at my truck to see what the front end looks like. After 2 years, I wasn't 100% sure what it looked like.

I almost never look at the front of my own truck, so even if I didn't like it (which I do), it wouldn't be something I noticed daily or even weekly. AND I don't think most people notice the front end of other vehicles very much unless they're exceptionally hideous. I'm sure some do, but I imagine most don't.

Lastly, most things soften with time: ugly people, ugly vehicles, ugly shirts, ugly houses,... The more you see something, the more "normal" it becomes. This front end will likely be the same for those who can't stand it right now. Like that ugly girl in shop class who eventually became decent looking, then pretty, and then you married her, and now you can't imagine life without her; this truck will grow on you. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

One last thing for anyone still reading this thread. What about getting a decal to cover the parts of the bumper right below the lights, so it doesn't look like it has orc tusks or an under bite?

You could get someone on Etsy or #Muslogy to print them like they do decals for the "Maverick" on the tailgate. Actually, I might start a new post with this idea.

I've mentioned that before. it wouldn't be hard to cut a few pieces of vinyl but the color and texture would weigh heavily on how well it blends to the grille and lights.

I'm not exactly thinking that's a ringing endorsement for the redesign. Maybe an endorsement for prevagen....lol

Yes the color makes a big difference. Black or the dark gray I forget what they call it. Also I would like that job naming paint colors on cars or for paint companies..., but basically what we're saying is it looks best in a color that sort of hides the design because it blends in with the grill.

The front end doesn't look as bad in the darker colors. I do think the smoked truffle looks better than the desert brown. But I can't stand the bigger screen I don't understand why they keep putting bigger and bigger screens in modern cars To me I think they're distracting . Some of these new cars have screen bigger than my computer monitor I like that my Tremor has analog (I know they're digital but at least the appearance of analog) gauges and controls. I'd rather they kept the small screen and added the option for a cd player like my 17 escape has. Yes I know I sound like an old fart for I am.

Just use the space for tacky bumper stickers. There is a lot of extra space.
Or maybe have Banksy paint a mural.

I've been wanting the larger screen so badly for so long, they could have put the front end of a 1974 Volkswagen Thing on it, and I would have bought it. But seriously, I don't see why so many hate the front end of the 2025 Maverick. I actually like it. I think they did pick the best grill of the prototypes I saw.

What do y'all think? Below are the 1974 Thing, 2024 Maverick, and 2025 Maverick.

No doubt for me the best looking front end ever!

What you have shown is the Lariat which has different grill and front-end accents. I do like it in the darker colors, black and green. The other trim levels are harder to like due to the missing accents.

With a certain 5liter V8.
Wonder if Ford makes one 🤔
