EV beats all.

The economical Chevy Bolt has huge torque and power to weight ratio. It's wicked fast. But at 2WD can't effectively put all the power into the pavement so traction control throttles it down. Turning traction control off will burnout the tires for days.

They probably have different engineers for these components.

The mud flaps were probably designed by the mud flap supplier.
Most of the components on a vehicle are designed by the suppliers.
Except for the body/frame and engine.

Sometimes even the engine is farmed out as when Yamaha designed an engine for the Taurus SHO
