After 9 months from order date, she's finally here. At a little over 3,600lbs and 200 inches long....everybody, meet Maev the Maverick. No toys for her yet since I wasn't sure I would be able to bring her home for fear of dealer shenanigans. No markup, but fighting the $8,700 worth of dealer addons was a diff story. Long story short, we compromised. I ended up getting the truck at msrp plus $900 for wheel locks, clear shield/bra, and a lojack system that I don't really care for.

Back to the good stuff. I quickly ordered the hood protector/deflector, tailgate assist (On backorder), tailgate letter inserts, Lasfit back up tail light LEDs, and tonneau cover once I got home last night from the dealership.

Then I remembered I ordered the AAWireless dongle many moons ago. At the time, I thought my truck would have arrived long before the dongle would. Boy, was I wrong. This dongle has been sitting in my nightstand drawer since December. I sat in the garage trying to to get the darn thing to connect until close to midnight. I'm happy to report it works flawlessly. From the time you start the truck it takes 15-20 seconds to connect to the sync-3.

I only put 22 miles on it, so not much to report on that front. Can't wait to give her a proper wash this weekend.

Congrats, in the same boat as you - hopefully get mine in the next week - what tonneau cover you decide on?

No, it took some some creative negotiating on my part, but they did not assess any ADMs. It all worked out in the end. I'm happy with the outcome.

I'm frugal and waffled on a few, but common sense and practicality won the day. I went with the Ford OEM soft roll up. I just couldn't justify spending much more on the more nicer ones. As you can see, it will be garaged, even though I won't be storing anything in it regularly anyways. Just need it to keep things from flying out of the bed during occasional light hauling. And to protect cargo from the rain we seldomly get in California.

And, you keep your cars in the garage! Way to go!

Btw, ordering accessories from Ford has been pretty slow, minimum 2 weeks for anything, and I’m having them delivered to the dealership. Still waiting on my tailgate spoiler.

Edit:
Just got off chat with a Ford rep about my order. They are investigating the delay, supposed to hear back in 5-7 business days. Hopefully I get info before then. ..
Could be worse, could be waiting for the actual truck like many of you are.

Garage fit was a big selling point for me. It's been well over a year since Maev arrived so I've been accessorized out for awhile now.

In addition to the initial stuff I bought, I've since added a smartliner all weather mats, powered sub, paint matched door molding, swapped out the door and rear passenger speakers, installed footwell and bed LEDs, stubby antenna, a new battery (my solution to the deep sleep messages), blacked out the ford emblems, ceramic tinted all the windows, and plastidip sprayed the side badges and grill bar.

I'm probably forgetting something but safe to say I'm done other than these recalls.
