True, but at that point you’ve already given up your location history, contacts, and a lot of other personal data. The data doesn’t get deleted because you uninstalled. You can uninstall the app, just saying.
It's not quite that bad. You can opt out of location access (I think the app asks to opt in on installation but you can decline IIRC) and as far as I can tell it does not even ask for your contacts.True, but at that point you’ve already given up your location history, contacts, and a lot of other personal data. I realize that for the large majority of people the $200 is worth it. But privacy is a human right and some of us wish to exercise that right, to the extent that it is possible in today’s world.
More than likely that connector is for the 12 volt connection in the rear of the truck bed. Look for a little black removable panel near the back of the bed on either side (just behind the storage bin in the side). I believe it's marked "12V". It is removable, and behind it is a matching plug to that harness. It is to allow you add 12v accessories in the bed.Well thank you to all for the info. Yes, the dealership was a disappointment, to say the least, so the Ford pass have to doesn’t surprise me. Hell, the salesman had no idea on how to open the hard bed cover. I figured it out but now I have to figure out how to drive it with the bed cover folded so it’s up against the back window! I think those strut rods play a key. And I also found a 2 wire connector in the glove box, (along with the owners manual, which the dealer said was only on line) that I have to google. Oh and maybe by Monday they will find my other key fob. Like I said, my dealership experience was disappointing!
thank you sharing your experience.Hello, and congrats on your new Maverick. I have 2023 Mav XLT and have had #11 pulled since I have owned her. When I go in for recalls, or anything else my awesome/outstanding service rep knows the fuse is pulled and in the glove box. They pop it in then put it back in the glove box when done. The best. Never had had issue with the Mav having the fuse pulled.
