I plan on installing a DashCam when the weather warms up a bit. I plan on using Fuse Slot 1 Micro-3 type for the ACC power and Fuse Slot 24 Micro-2 type for the BATT power. These seem to make sense as they are both spares. My question is even though they are both spares they have fuses installed. Does anyone know where these two spare circuits terminate to that need to be kept live even though they are spares? The electrician in me does not normally keep spare circuits live. Curiosity mostly.

Assuming you are talking about the BCM fuses, the 2023 wiring diagrams show the following:

F1/F2 (3 pin) dual fuse
F1: Restraints Control Module
F2: Not used
F24: Not used

There are no wires associated with these fuses shown in the BCM diagrams, but if you can identify which pin outs on the CE2280 D/E/F connectors are connected to these fuses, we can determine if there is an associated wire in the connector diagram.

Thank you. Talking about the BCM fuses under the glove box. Yeah, this is more curiosity than anything really. Does not affect my dash cam install. I will be using F2 & F24. I prefer using spares whenever feasible and this truck makes it easy.
