Tailgate letters arrived

I like Maverick minus the "E" and mocked up a dash instead. Thoughts?

I decided to have a little fun with the tailgate letters, so I installed all of the letters except for the "E" and mocked up a single dash where the E would go. I figure, why not? That's how most everybody pronounces it anyway.
What do you think? Poll above.

I think it looks clever and if you like it keep it. As I voted in the poll: it's your truck, decorate it how ever you like. (Though I do think leaving the letter blank is an unfinished look...)

I agree. I figure, since there's a space for the dash why not use it? (I've kept the "E" anyway, just in case)

Smarter than me. I probably would have butchered the "E" to get the dash. 🙃

I think it looks fine. The only weird thing is the stamp for the rest of the E being there yet. If you like it go with it!

I voted whatever. However, I think it's unique and clever and you should keep it with the - if you are so inclined.

Cool.
This reminds me of an incident at my college, some smart n cleaver, prob drunk dudes…one of dormitory was Tucker Hall, an all male dorm. One nite, with hack saw and tape, they climb top, cut the left side of T, repositioned under right side of T.

New name…F**ker Hall.

Obviously, no cameras them days and Dean of Men not happy.

Now everyone will call you Rick because they think you are so clever.

Me: Same Oxford white hybrid tailgate with all 8 letters where the Gods at Ford intended :)

There was a time when I'd have wielded the hacksaw... ;)
