I don’t know about your part of the country but here, in CO I’m suddenly seeing a lot of non Maverick trucks with tailgate lettering added that I haven’t seen before.

Perhaps we started a trend.

I saw that but I keep trying to figure out how A51 letters would look on A51 body Worth the $?

Oh no, I just put it out there,that would not accomplish anything. But since I have an Area 51 it made me look at some of the interior trim to cover in Area 51...door handle area,console trim,etc

Lol I started thinking and visualizing A51 letters on A51. It might be a distinctive mod

I am getting some letters then I have a friend that worked in a sign shop and I will get her to put them on

Agree.
There may be enough contrast in the shade of blue that they pop a little anyway. I doubt its an exact match.
As you can see, the white tuffskinz dont match the paint perfectly.
They look like they do on the dark surfaces, but if I had any directly on the white paint there would be contrast.

Tuffskinz overlays aren’t flat. They have a base layer, a color layer, and a clear layer which forms a slightly curved surface. They feel like a semi soft plastic or rubber.

I actually thought about putting white letters on my white maverick. I think it would have looked pretty good. I wasnt concerned about it disappearing.

Wow, that looks amazing! I am planning on ordering the front grille overlay in A51 especially after I see how it pops on your truck! Thanks for the pictures!

From BDTrims what color lettering do you think will work on the new 24 Terrain color? Was thinking one of the black options or the carbon.

Had my lettering added this past Saturday and finally got some good pictures of them on a clean tailgate. These obviously aren't from Ford and they fit in to the inset instead of the way Ford's seem to stick out a little. Personally, I like the thinner vinyl rather than the thicker ones from Ford, and these aren't going to cost $99-109.

I think they came out pretty solid and will have to add some to my wife's Cactus Gray hybrid whenever it comes in.

PS- this is about the closest I could find to the Area 51 color currently.
