I have a 2022 Lariat Hybrid. I want to install a light bar under the tailgate. Most of the one's I have seen plug into the towing 4-pin adapter. I dont want to do that for several reasons. I want a permanent install. I have just read about the T-Harness made by Curt manufacturing. Has anyone used it? I would prefer a light bar that is designed to plug into my truck's wiring harness. I want turn signals, brake lights, running lights and backup lights.

Has anyone done this yet? I have searched through the forums and didn't see anything along this line.

thanks

I believe its OPT7 that makes a plug in harness that plugs in by your tail lights to add a extra 4 pin connector and it stops the truck from thinking it's a trailer.. Thats what I used worked great

You haven't found too much on it because It's going to be a pain, since the brakes are combined with the turn signals on the maverick, you can't just do simple wiring -- you will need to get something that has logic to separate the brakes from the turn.

something like these and then a brake light bar.

I doubt you'll find anything plugnplay, you'll most likely have to diy your way through it if you really want it.
