Tacos for dinner

Just been informed that my truck will not be built as ordered.
I equate this news to finding out your favorite restaurant is now serving steak at a good price, so, you get there early, they take your order, and you wait. Dinner hour comes and goes but you are patient, because the steaks smell delicious. Hours go by still no steak, finally around closing the waiter comes by and tells you "they won't cook you a steak but you can have all the fixings and chicken". "But I don't want chicken you say" he responds "too bad".
On the way in to your EX favorite restaurant you noticed a fast food place next door. Guess I'll be having Tacos tonight

Sounds a lot like last call at a bar....you have watched attractive people leave with other people throughout the night for "relations". You want to be one of those people but waited too long to make your move. There are people left at bar closings, but none of them are what you really are looking for to have "relations". But you are lonely....so relations are had with someone you really were not interested in...ie, you got the lesser option.
