Showing my wife the lane keeping on my truck going 45 miles a hour truck stayed in lane took my hand off wheel a couple seconds a warning came on said keep hand on wheel !WHAT? No car is designed to steer you off the road even in the slightest degree. I don't know what Kool-Aid you've been given but you should lay off.
Duct tapeWould love to hear if anyone has a solution for it. I bet when I go to the dealership they will try to fix it with some Macgyver way or it will take them 3 month to order the bad part which is probably on backorder. I dont even want to use the section anymore, just want the door to stay stable and closes.
Hate to disagree with you . . . but . . . if properly aligned a vehicle should travel in a straight course IF the roadway is perfectly flat. The reason why aligned vehicles drift to the right is because of the "road crown". By design, roads SHOULD be higher in the middle and slightly slop towards the shoulders to allow water to go towards the shoulders preventing or at least limit pooling. Water pooling will cause vehicles to hydroplane where traction is lost or at least limited and control of the vehicle is hampered or lost. Most vehicles do and Its by design unless yours is way off? It's meant to veered you off the highway to the shoulder in case you fall asleep at the wheel.
I doubt it. You could have driven over a pothole for all they know, (and maybe you did), or anypretty sure it is warrantied, for the first year and 12k miles
I was right with you! And I have the same 'sunglass holder' as you.Lol true.. sunroof replaces the sunglass holder..
i was like : what sunglass holder? How come I didn’t see that.. that’s great..and then i realized that if you have sunroof you dont get the sunglass holder
just be careful that there are other small plastic clips and trim that may break.. i saw a guy who broke his side window switch button on the second day or something and no he did not use force.. the silver tip of the button switch cracked just like that.
here a picture of the sunroof

Any chance you can post some pics of your fix or even do a short YouTube video for us guys who are a bit challenged thinking in this area?Found this and saved it so when I get my Maverick and the sunglasses holder breaks I can try to fix it permanently![]()

You are welcome. It was halffast and I should have thanked as well. My oem one kept popping out but so far the mopar one seems to be perfect and hopefully longevity will Be fine. I actually had a recall appointment for this which I am glad I did not take the truck in for.HalfFast & Joseaoe1, I received the Mopar latch that you both have advised would fit. (
Mopar 68038755Aa Latch).
It fits perfectly! To install, I only needed to take a very small screwdriver and pop the OEM latch down to remove. The Mopar part was just then press fitted in.
Seems to work somewhat better than the OEM latch. I now have a spare if I ever need it.
Thanks for posting a solution to the lazy sunglass latch.
