Sub Box idea...

This is far from ground breaking, but I haven't seen it done, and thought I'd toss it out for others brainstorming. To maximize air space, and eliminate the possibility of subs getting into the seat bottom, I center loaded my 8's.... Box size per side is 14.5" x 9" x 9".

Never. Just bought a Maverick, and like everything else, I enjoy modifying things. There will be plenty of motorcycles in the back of the truck.....

Yes, HydroTurf. Looks good, easy to work with, acts as a speaker gasket, and cuts out some vibes....

What does the bottom of your box look like? Mine isn't that shape because there is a brace, unevenly ramped, against the center tunnel and the bottom is just not uniform in any dimension. Which is no real concern for fiberglass enclosures but wood has to either not fit perfectly or be very complex in shape.

So is the bottom of your box basically foam?

It's all square, but fits snuggly in the irregular shape without issue.

This is my Maverick underseat subs , my build is on here somewhere, subs don’t hit the seat and I leave it down all the time.

Are your subs not fighting one another facing each other so closely? Have you faced them away from one another to see the difference?
