Stuck in Slippery mode. Is it normal that you can't get out of slippery mode while driving?

I accidentally toggled into "Slippery" mode the other day and was unable to get out of that mode until I stopped and turned off the truck. It returned to normal when I restarted the truck, which is what it normally does.

No, it is not normal to not be able to change modes while driving.
On my 2023 I can change modes while driving if I go from Eco to Sport. I can tell a difference in the gas pedal response and the steering tightens up.
Here is the the page from the manual for the 2026

Please test again. Different modes too.

What a wild change to the 26MY if purposeful.

So you changed to it while already driving, not parked or at a stop light?

My bad, I did not realize there was a left and right mode button. I thought there was just one and it scrolled all the way through. It works perfectly using the right button to go back the other way. I'm too old for this tech Schmidt. lol.

The drive mode selection menu does not "loop around". I believe you need to use the left and right drive mode buttons (arrows) on the steering wheel to cycle through the menu. Have you tried this?

That worked.
Thank you.

So even this should be clarified by the fact there is a difference pre-25MY, vs later.

Pre-25MY the button is on the lower console - 1 button - and it does cycle thru the displayed line of Modes each time you press it.

Hope they didn't dedicate 2 buttons to one function, hope they are used for other things.
