Still waiting on new CV axles

I got first set of CV axels replaced @17,000miles
took my truck in Nov.2024 to get my 2nd set of CV axels @34,000 miles they said they are on back order it’s almost 4 months still waiting on them here in Orlando, anyone else been waiting for CV axels ?
I did call Ford Corp. and they just called the dealership to confirm they have them on emergency back order and they did

My passenger side CV axle needed changed at 63k last December. I waited over a month while calling weekly to check that they had the new part# and get a status update. I skipped the alignment afterwards to see if it needed it and it didn't. All good since then and waiting for the drivers side to show signs of failing.

The replacement CV axles have been redesigned, are stronger and should be available.

The dealership said mine ('22 Lariat hybrid) need replacement also. I’ve been waiting for the parts since late October '24.

CV DRIVE AXLES, looks like Ford can,t make enough for the amount thats needed, anyone check to see if aftermarket is available ?

There's not an aftermarket axle for this vehicle.

I tried a couple aftermarket axles in a CR-V years ago and they were complete garbage anyway. The new one was not balanced and vibrated at highway speeds, and the remanufactured one completely failed driving down the interstate (at the CV joint). Tow truck, night in a ratty motel, ANOTHER parts store axle that vibrated installed at a shop, lucky the transmission wasn't wrecked. I ended up pulling one from a junkyard and putting my own new boots and grease in it. My time installing 3 axles, 1 shop axle, 1 tow truck, 1 motel was an expensive lesson there.

Only mention that because the redesigned OE axle, and being able to actually get one is the only real solution.

23 Hybrid, 38k miles same axle issue as others. Thought it was wheel balance/alignment problem, but issue persisted after rotation balance and alignment. Took it to a dealer today who confirmed it needed both front axels replaced under warranty, incredible enough, they said they will get the parts delivered overnight tonight and I will be able to pick up the car with new axles tomorrow afternoon, warranty job. I was also told an alignment will be done as part of the warranty process....
