2025 Maverick still has deep sleep problems even with AGM battery. I sold my 2022 Maverick to get away from the deep sleep but had new 25 for 20 days and it went into deep sleep?? I charged the battery and 10 days later it's back into deep sleep good job Ford (NOT) Problem not battery it's the programming.

I took delivery of my 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid a little over a month ago I have just under 750 miles on it and haven’t seen this issue but will continue to monitor this - thanks for the heads up

Anytime I don't drive my truck for three days or think I may not drive it for several days, I put my noco g5 maintainer onto the jump posts.

No issues for me. Most it has sat since I got it 3 weeks ago was 3 days.

I agree this should not be occurring, especially in the '25's with an AGM. But two points here: one, ten days is a long time without running the hybrid. The modules in this vehicle are still pretty hungry while it sits idle. At some threshold (whatever that is) certain features begin shutting down to maintain a battery reserve. That brings me to point number 2, the reserve is what allows it to power critical functions and prevent you from being stranded. It appears the telematics is low on the priority scale which is why so many of us lose the Ford Pass feature. The app for my truck doesn't work ten minutes after driving it which is frustrating, but at least it still starts. We are all waiting for the SSM53087 update to correct this. I'm curious if it applies to the 25's as well.

Has it continued to stay in deep sleep mode? how long into that 10 day period of sitting before it went into deep sleep?

Sounds like your Maverick sat for an extended period of time and it operated as expected, and went into deep sleep mode to protect your battery.

I'm in agreement with Matso. Also please note, the app seems to be there to occassionally keep the battery from draining too much. I knew the app would still put the truck in sleep mode, but the big difference for me is my battery doesn't go dead with the AGM. The flooded batteries couldn't handle the software charging sequence. The battery that came new with the truck died 4 weeks after purchase. The replacement flooded battery 6 weeks later. The AGM I got back in May of 2024 is still running. I get a sleep message about every 2 months, no matter how often or how far I drive. But the AGM battery has not completely died.

I agree with the other posters. Ten days is a long time to sit and the deep sleep is functioning correctly to save your battery for starting.

It's supposed to go into deep sleep around 14 days I believe. So that sounds about right. I have had mine since January. Only have put 450 miles on it and have not seen deep sleep yet but I do drive about every day just not very far.

My 23 Hybrid I need to charge the battery about once a month in the winter, Maybe once every 2 or so months summer time.

I am waiting till there is a fix by ford. Supposedly end of March BUT I have my doubts. At that point I will buy an AGM battery. Unless the fix comes with one. Please ford fix it.
