I feel like my steering wheel on my new 24 XL Ecoboost is pointed to the right/right biased. I'm careful to say it actually pulls either direction because it seems the truck is more sensitive to the crown of the road so can't say for sure, but I can say the steering wheel points a bit to the right. I can make a very shallow left hand turn and it seems the wheel becomes straight and as soon as I straighten out or turn slightly right then the wheel exaggerates to the right side.

Not sure if anybody else's does this and is a "ford thing" but figured I'd ask. I'm at 1500 miles and plan to contact the dealer for the first free oil change in another 1k-2k and will bring it up to them and hope they do an alignment check at least

Have them redo the alignment. It happens sometimes. Not just a Ford or a Maverick thing, but there have been posts here about it.

Mine tracks straight and true; call the dealer. The very first thing I noticed when I took delivery was how tight and straight the steering felt.

I had the same issue from the start; took it to my dealer and the alignment was biased right. Truck was realigned and tracks true now.

My experience is with both 22 EB and a 24 hybrid. Both tracked straight from day one, no pull, tracks straight. As others have said, most likely alignment and not an inherent design issue and should be easily solved.

I had your problem when my 2016 GMC Canyon was new. I had to take it back 3X before they really solved it. Not fun to drive a vehicle and have to fight to keep it going straight down the road.

Could potentially be either of these two issues.....the alignment is off, and/or the steering wheel was installed off center.

Regardless, you have an alignment provided under warranty for situations like this, the sooner the better to have it checked.

It's honestly not that bad, maybe about 3-4° off but I'm super conscious of that kind of stuff and probably on the ocd side of it. Couple that with a new vehicle i have higher expectations regardless if it's a "budget truck" since it's all computer calibrated anyway. Normally i do all my own work but it's nice that inshokdnt have to for a few years on anything major so might as well take advantage of it

--> IMHO every new vehicle regardless of price, budget of luxury should track straight down the road. That is not too much to ask of people who brag about make motor vehicles for over 100 years. :)

Are your tire pressures all equal and at the correct pressure, or are they still at the shipping overpressure?

I reduced them to be correct on the drive home from the dealership day 1

Alignment issue, steering wheel would be off a lot as the mount has like a hex with a bolt ,so it would be off 45 or 60 degrees if it was put on , one notch off or to the right.

23 Mav Hybrid at 12,000 miles began drifting to the right. I suspected the alignment. Took it into local Ford dealer. Service rep said the technician stated that it was due to "crab walking". After performing an alignment, he noted on his report.: " Did alignment & still pulling to the right some not a lot. It seems more internal". I was told by the service rep that "it's a factory defect" and there is "no fix". Huh!

Get used to it. There is no steering column. Steering is by wire. If road is perfectly flat and tires are perfectly inflated and the number of revolutions per mile are somehow identical and also if you are not having to adjust for windage drift (think sailboat) the truck may steer straight ahead. Someone reported that their dealer "adjusted their steering" to point the same as their wheels. (Or maybe introduced an electrical bias slightly off center, who knows). I remember driving bumper to bumper at 78-79 on I-20 with a crosswind of 40+ mph requiring significant turning of steering to keep maverick in lane. After about 30 miles was able to change lanes and slow down to exit. Unloaded semi's were leaning downwind noticeably.
