Squeaky dash rattle - Warranty Coverage?

I've posted before - about a really annoying dash rattle. Took it in for service and had them look at it. Of course, the problem "couldn't be replicated" and they tinkered around to no avail. It appears to go away when the weather here in Michigan warms up. Pretty much non-existent right now but will for sure come back when the temp hits the 40s next week, I bet. I've heard a lot here about a plastic windshield alignment tab that the factory forgot or didn't remove and that is for sure the culprit. Am I asking too much to have the dealership remove the windshield and remove the tab, whether or not they can hear it rattling? I want this done under warranty and it's the only thing that has ticked me off on owning it after a year. I love the truck, hate the squeak. Lariat, Lux, FX4, Tow. No, you're not asking for too much. I had mine fixed under warranty. Tell them to call the Ford mechanic hotline to confirm the issue since Ford, for whatever reason, still has not published guidance to dealers about this.
