Thanks! I have a deposit down on one and just trying to gather a little more info about some of the past complaints.

Looking forward to more responses on here!
I've had my 25 Hybrid for 2 weeks. Zero issues. I'm new to hybrid life, so I'm in the learning curve. Only miss the sound of an engine when I turn on or off.

Less than 100 miles in my XLT 2025, so still very early days, but I have none of the issues listed.

Only have a week on my 25 lariat but a few dozen trips on my "driveway".
It about 3/4 mile, hard pack dirt with lots of potholes.
Haven't heard a peep, squeak, rattle or thud yet.

Brakes are great. Not grabbing or too sensitive at all. Smooth, predictable and only require a light to medium application.

Has anyone been checking the voltage of the battery to see if its slowly going down between drives? I'm pretty sure a voltage drop was something occurring on the prior years hence leading to the batteries going bad.
I have a volt gage in the power outlet (cigarette lighter). I see it as high as 15.3 volts, is this what is cooking batteries and causing issues? In the real world 14.3 is highest charge voltage. Remember there is no 12 volt starter so no high current draws to run a battery down quickly.

I've found 3 models of those power adapter V meters get more inaccurate the higher they are.

At resting voltage the question was asking about (don't turn system to On or Started or you get charging Volts), I've gotten the best model as reading 0.2 V higher than tested in the port.
With system On or Started - 0.4 V higher reading than tested.
So your 15.3 could easily be 14.9 which is indeed seen on hybrids according to the system PIDs.

There is no cooking of batteries though - as there is barely enough amps going to it.
That's the problem.

14.9 V, 1 amp or less.
Ain't cooking, or charging, much of anything.

On my 2023 I'd see the 15 volts more in the cooler months than warmer.
This is an AGM I installed about a month after getting the truck.
The monitor is at the jump post, so it's closer to the DC/DC than the 12V Battery.

I picked up my ordered 2025 lariat AWD Maverick in February. I now have over 6,000 miles of trouble free driving. Had one recall. (airbag bulb holder) It was promptly fixed under warranty. Had a tire just replaced on my dime with a puncture to near the sidewall to repair. Can't fault Ford for that one. It has been a welcome respite from trouble compared to the earlier 22-24 Mavs I have seen with recall after recall. Fingers crossed here as my lat vehicle 2012 Nissan Frontier has 247,000 trouble free miles and the 99 Dakota had 325,000 miles on it. Had to do a transmission on it at 200,000 miles. I take care of my vehicles, do the regular maintenance and probably change the oil too often but it works for me. Used to love wrenching on cars but now I just want to drive.

I picked up my 2025 awd hybrid on 5/22, and right now barely use it. It currently has only 458 miles on it. 220 of those miles were from picking it up at a dealer 3 hours away.

I try to either drive it 1x a week or remote start it for 30min, just to get the fluids circulated. For the first couple weeks it just sat in the garage with no issue or warnings, and started right up when I went to take it for a drive.

The maximum charging voltage for a 12V lead-acid battery is typically 14.4 to 14.7 volts. This voltage range is often used during the bulk charging phase to quickly bring the battery to a near-full charge. After reaching this voltage, the charging voltage is typically reduced to a lower "float" voltage to prevent overcharging and damage.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Bulk Charging:
During the bulk charging stage, the voltage is typically kept between 14.4V and 14.7V for a 12V lead-acid battery. This higher voltage is needed to overcome the battery's internal resistance and efficiently charge it.
Float Charging:
Once the battery is near full charge, the voltage is reduced to a float voltage, typically around 13.5V to 13.8V. This lower voltage prevents the battery from being overcharged and damaged.
Temperature Dependence:
The ideal charging voltage can vary slightly based on temperature. For example, charging at higher temperatures may require a slightly lower voltage, while charging at lower temperatures may require a slightly higher voltage.
Specific Battery Type:
It's crucial to consult the manufacturer's specifications for your specific type of 12V battery (e.g., AGM, gel, flooded) as they may have slightly different recommended charging voltages.
Overcharging:
Exceeding the recommended maximum charging voltage can lead to overcharging, which can damage the battery by causing excessive gassing, heat buildup, and potential explosions (in the case of flooded batteries).

New owner here, no issues with brakes. It is a TBD on the rest of it I think. Only time will tell. So far so good with the Maverick.

Ya, this:

Only Ford engineers read hours as minutes in the graph. No really, that's about how long the higher amps are used.

I have a 2025 Lariat with 2400 miles on it. No issues with brakes or drivetrain. I just changed the oil with a buddy and it took longer to remove the protective panel than to remove the oil plug and filter. Put in some Mobil 1 from Amazon and a Motorcraft filter (interestingly, taller than factory filter).
I love the great mileage, quiet cabin, and the power rear window - it’s like driving in a convertible with all the windows open!
