I'm wondering if anyone has come across this. About 50% of my driving time contains a loud rattle from what sounds like a tin can being pulled from behind.
This just started a couple of days ago. It comes and goes. It does not change with speed except that it is a very slow rattle when stopped. I cannot associate it with tires, axles, engine, etc. I took a quick look under the truck and didn't find anything obvious, such as a loose muffler or exhaust pipe since that's kind of what it sounds like. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Alllen
