If the parts were different, that should be easy to see. Parts going to one place are bad and another are better, then why? That should be something that can be figured out and not be a reason to say one assembly location has higher quality output than another.Is it really the workers, or bad parts and programming that the assemblers have no control over?
I have been "Blessed" with my 2022 XL as well...On my Second Maverick. Bambi murdered my first one.
So far this ones the same as my first, a real Cream Puff.

I think Ford overall is getting better.My Maverick is the fourth Ford I've bought new. It is the only one that hasn't required any warranty work. The others were built in Dearborn and St. Thomas, Ontario.
It’s a combination of cost savings giving substandard parts, personnel retention, and management meeting production numbers. Where I worked, quantity over quality until it starts affecting the bottom line. Upper management will put in place processes to reduce mistakes but middle management will override those if it affects line speed. Then you have personnel that hire in and quit by lunchtime. Sadly this seems true of most all public companies to one degree or another.Pleasing Wall Street is more important than pleasing customers
If the quality on my 2024 Ford Ranger was any indication, it was the workers. Missing cab body plugs, painted over weld slag on the exterior and rear shock bolts that came loose within a 1K miles points to the lack of worker care to me.Is it really the workers, or bad parts and programming that the assemblers have no control over?
