Are the FORScan spreadsheets/findings/same mods going to apply to '25 models, or do we not really know? Potentially some will, I assume? All, if we're lucky? I guess this questions really goes out to those who have had previous experience between different generations of other models.

My 2025 will be delivered any day now, and I'm most certainly going to be playing with FScan. I'm also willing to test and find out new things, so lay out your questions or curiosities!

My guess is most mods will continue to work.

Having access to modifying my vehicle software/logic after purchase at home has been one of the coolest parts of owning a Ford.

I received my truck last week and am already looking at ordering the OBD2 device so I can turn off the seatbelt info screen that pops up everytime you turn it on. If it went away once you buckled in that’d be fine, but it seems to stay on way too long afterwards.

Yup, that thing stays up there way too long in earlier models as well. I plan on doing the same.

I haven't been able to get ForScan to recognize the new 25 yet. Says devs are aware but to try again in 24 hrs.

Still haven't been able to get ForScan to recognize the vehicle. Tried following the guide here in the Forscan Support docs, but no luck. To be fair, I'm still trying to figure out how all of this works so might be missing something obvious.

I emailed the developers today to ask. I am going to try what @kxpqzt mentioned about data mining the As Built file. I will let you all know if it connects....

No dice. I copied and pasted the value as mentioned in the ForScan support article and it still said "nope".

it's up to forscan to update their software so it is able to read the modules on the 2025 Maverick. I would say most of the current mods will apply. The APIM and ACM modules (RADIO) is likely to be different. You can use this website https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Home/SetCountry?returnUrl=/AsBuilt and input a 2025 vin and compare the codings to a 2024 with the same trim and options.

That is the hope (that the majority of the coding will be the same).

There was a delay for MY2024 to be recognized in Forscan as well... But obviously the support eventually arrived... Would imagine 2025 compatibility is coming soon.
