Just played with this a bit, on the XLT hybrid it's still pressing and holding brake and the ok button, then press start. You'll see "ET" appear on the dash, that's when you release the ok button. If you keep holding OK, it will cancel test mode.
Edit: just saw you can also adjust the Average...
Yeah I dropped it off for the same thing and they said it all looks fine. I haven't yet drained/refilled the transmission but I'll probably do that soon just to get eyes on it and for piece of mind.
Curious if anyone has gotten info out of a dealer about what the noise is.
Can add "Door ajar chimes disable" as working on the 2025 - was one of the first things I did.
Although the TSR system works very well, it does reset if it detects a turn. This can also reset if you're on a winding road. Kinda annoying but better to err on the side of caution I guess.
Figured it out, just have to tap the section with the Android Auto icon on the home screen to select the source.
Nice confirmation that I might be an idiot :)
The first removes the restriction on certain menu items while driving (like vehicle settings).
Not sure about the second exactly, may be enabling YouTube while driving?
Yes works just fine. There's a thread with the latest beta to download and results of testing on 2025s.
Also make sure you're backing up everything before making any changes. I keep a list going on my copy of the master excel sheet with the date, what values I changed, results, etc. Make one...
Yeah I saw the other two options but those say that they retain both the dash indicator and the chime. I'll take it if that's the only option, but only having the dash indicator would be ideal.
Also had the checksum alert when writing 720-13 and 720-14 for disabling the seat belt menu/chimes but it wrote fine regardless and worked perfectly! I'd kinda like to keep only the little red seatbelt icon but remove menu and chimes, so will look into that later.
In the IPC module, I also set...
So I noticed there are also options available in the IPC EZ-mode configuration for Belt Minder Chime and Belt Monitor Chime. Are these also available on the previous model years? Just curious is folks have tested them.
Was also looking for the Driver Restriction Menu in ACM EZ-mode (table...
It will lead to more rubbing against the cable, so definitely recommend tightening that bolt down to keep it in position. Mine slipped like this quite a bit, but I snagged an actual T50 torx bit from Lowe's and got it tightened appropriately.
Still haven't been able to get ForScan to recognize the vehicle. Tried following the guide here in the Forscan Support docs, but no luck. To be fair, I'm still trying to figure out how all of this works so might be missing something obvious.
To get a license for the Android app? I'm not following, but maybe I need to go through the process in the windows prog again. I haven't been able to get any kind of license
That's like asking why you would install those soft-close toilet seats even though toilet seats are incredibly light. It's the cheaply obtained convenience of not having to lower it manually. I also usually have my hands full when opening the tailgate so being able to pull the latch and drop it...
