So... Anyone else had a shipping delay?

Morning/afternoon/evening all,

Just wanted to touch base with the rest of you, especially those still waiting on your vehicles. I ordered my truck in September 22 (9/17/22 to be exact). Truck shipped on the first of July 23, got held up at a transit yard on the 18th. After calling ford for two weeks I finally received an update on it- they're now saying delivery is between the 20th and the 23rd of September. Crazy it will be a whole year after I ordered that it delivered, crazier still it has sat at a staging yard since the 18th of July. My question to you all- anyone else dealt with a delay this large? I'd love to hear your stories!

My son and I both have trucks that were shipped on July 3 from Mexico (his is the Ecoboost, mine's the hybrid) and have had the expected arrival dates pushed back 4 times. At first they were supposed to arrive on July 25th, but now they're supposed to be Sept. 9-13, and I can't open the tracking page anymore. This would be funny, but it's not, and the dealer must be sick of my weekly calls. We ordered a Honda CRV for my wife in December and it was built and delivered in 2 months. The Mavericks are taking over 2 months just for shipping, and I don't expect to see them by the next date, either. It's getting kinda frustrating.

Hang in there! The wait is worth it. A shipping delay is just a right of passage for Maverick owners.

So Salesmen said mine was going to be here on 9/8 and tracker said 9/15 and last Friday 9/1 dealer called me up letting me know it came in surprising both of us. Hopefully you will get yours soon.

Are you mid westerners short of truck drivers. Ya'all are from the same area. Mine is scheduled to arrive at the rail to truck yard in MA on Wednesday. Then I will start holding my breath, although my dealer says lately it's taken about a week. Who knows.

I would not put a lot of faith in what Ford has to say about arrival times. It is out of their control and you can guess just as good as they do.

I had the opposite problem, it arrived quicker then expected. Shipped 8/8 and I took delivery 8/23. I was expecting at least a month and didn't have a chance to look for outside financing.

The Ford website tracker said the truck shipped on 9/6 and so I called the salesperson up and asked should I get my financing in order and he said not to do anything because it usually takes a couple of month to get to their dealership.
