Wow I'm glad I'm not the only one. It has to do something with airflow through the grill at speed.This is my 2022 EB in Dec 2025 on I-95 in VA. Video shows the weather, photo shows the "Ice Bra" when I stopped for lunch.
It took 4 days for all of the ice to disappear. No problems noted.

^ This exactly. The headlights do not make enough heat to naturally keep them clear. And Ford did not engineer a defrosting element in the lens cover, say like BMW has done before...I don't think the LED headlights produce enough heat to keep themselves clear, like the old halogens or the round sealed lenses did.
Oh I definitely didn't wait for it to melt. I carefully scraped it all off the moment we got back. I know now for future trips that this will happen.Took days to melt off? You could have just scraped it off
