I think today was my first time driving my 22 Mav in the blowing snow. It wasn't sticking to anything, but apparently it stuck to the ACC sensor on the front grill enough to cause it to disable itself.

I got this message "Adaptive Cruise Not Available Sensor Blocked See Manual".

Was just a little jarring when it happened. No big deal, just letting folks know to look out for it.

Should never use cruise control in wet or snowy conditions.

It should be used only when you are able to drive at a steady speed with safe road conditions. On icy, snow-covered or wet roads, if your wheels lose traction, the cruise control will continue to accelerate, causing the wheels to spin

I went camping the night I picked mine up and that required going over a mountain pass. I got the "ACC disabled" message before I even tried the feature. 😂

Ya. Semi also reads steeper hills, concrete barriers, etc. It looks about 350 feet on the freightliner but any damn thing sets it off.

I noted this last winter when it happened to me... Thanks for the reminder!
