I have a 23 Lariat with the LUX package, 360 CoP...it looks like it is included from forums but I see no listing on the invoice for wiper de-icer or heated mirrors for that matter.

Do you have a button to turn on the heated mirrors? I was very surprised to see that on the Mav. The last 3 or 4 vehicles we have owned did not have a specific button for the mirrors, they just came on with the defroster button generally.

You should have it on your Lariat I would think if the XLT has it.

Eventually the car manufacturers will have lens heaters as an option.

Aftermarket is way ahead. I added Morimoto LED 2Stroke Bulbs V3 to my Flex and they have a fan that blows across the heat sink into the headlight housing. Eliminating the snow build up issue with LEDs.

Never even noticed but it does have a button. Seems like it goes on automatically when remote started in the cold. I better start reading the manual for details.

This thread reminds me to mix up another spray bottle of ice melt, it's not magic or instant but helps. never felt comfortable scraping the tough ice off plastic.

First snow fall I drove in...not heavy but on a trip. I had to stop twice to clear the headlights of snow that had formed into an 1/8" layer of ice that was severely blocking the headlight output. Seems like it would have been nice if Ford had installed a few heater lines in the plastic lenses with the Lariat LUX package.

Any coatings that help with this issue during a storm? like Rainx I now have two cars with LED headlights so it will probably be an issue with all LED headlights.

None have any heater lines in the lense except for aftermarket ones it looks like. Other car with LEDs doesn't have the issue but instead they have heatsinks in the lamp assembly with a miniature fan so I assume it pushes heat to the inside of the lense as the heat sink gets hot.
