I put Ford accessories side deflector on my truck. The fact that they are Ill fitting blows my mind if you mount them to fit the drivers door and then go to apply the behind door then you either have a 1 1/2 gap at the end of the drivers door or it comes up short on the back window . You either have a gap between the front and start of the back window or a gap at the end of the back door. Are they made to fit another Ford truck or did someone not measure correctly?

I do like the style myself, yes if you fit them onto the rubber seal so they’re flush with mirror & at the doorway they do go past the rear.

I purchased the factory ones thinking they would fit and look nice. Big mistake. I took them off the following day and dumped them in the trash. I'm going with the ones from EGR. The factory ones looked atrocious to me. They're cheap stick-ons that made my Lariat Maverick look and feel like an XL.

The WellVisor brand visors on Bezos' website fit to the end of the rear door:

Hey that's my truck! Really love my WellVisors. Not a lot of people are a fan of them though. Something about not being "low profile" enough and that they bulge out. I like how they go up to the edge of the door frame and run the full length of the frame so it looks like part of the truck.

Does this deflector block the passenger side rear view mirror? I've red somewhere that this one does. The blocked area in this mirror depends on the the position of of the driver seat. Do you see this being an issues in your Lariat?

Thx...

The back ones would look better if they stopped even with the rear side windows. They are still butt ass ugly. I like the in-channel ones because they are sleek looking not bulky.

I've been running EGR in channel window visors for almost a year but I'm going to pull them off. I lived in Florida (sand) and recently moved to New Mexico (blowing sand) and can't take the gritty sound when rolling down the windows anymore. The EGRs also rattled whenever the window was down, even when the truck was stopped and it was breezy. I've had probably 6 different vehicles that I've ran in channel window visors on and these were the worst by far.

I've got a set of Wellvisors on the way that should be delivered in a couple of days.

Mine have been great so far. I've had my WellVisors for over a year and no issues here. Live in SoCal and been through a triple digit summer and visors stay put. Follow the online installation guide:

One issue I had with installation was that one of the visors didn't stick onto the B-Pillar plastic/vinyl section well. A little 3M adhesion promotor fixed that.
