Side body moulding

I bought the color-matched pre-cut Side Moldings off eBay awhile back before I took delivery of my Maverick and finally took them out of the package today.
Color match is PERFECT and they appear really nice.
As far as what height on the doors I'm going to install them, I'm going to wait until I get that First Door Ding them install them at that height. At least they'll cover the first one..

Great idea to wait to see where the ding is most likely to show up before installing. Be sure to post pics when you do. (Not the ding ... the moldings! )

Has anyone found a moulding to apply to the doors to prevent thoughtless people parked next to us from dinging our doors with theirs. With all that open flat space on the Mav doors, it is a must for me.

The OEM moulding is far too low on the door to be useful. Need something to go mid door

Sport wing has the nicest. Check their website...

Can't wait to see the photos upon install completion. As in many other things, location, location, location. Have you done any research into where the best possible placement?

That's a nice clean look, almost can't see it!

I was looking at that lower mounted one. I was wondering how much protection it provides, knowing that some vehicle doors kind of bow out towards the center of the door. Meaning a higher mounted one may provide better protection. ??
I'm hoping to stop a repeat of this.
