Just got an email saying due to shipping delays, my maverick delivery will be postponed.
Built on 2/12...original arrival date of 3/10.. ...now delayed to 4/10-4/20...CRAP!
May have to pass on it now...25' Maverick lariat hybrid..

Boy, that is a bummer. Shipping delays like yours is very unusual. Have you checked with your dealer about the cause of your Maverick's delay?

Yes, was told they are seeing delays on all their vehicles coming out of Mexico. As for the reason, dealer wasn't sure.

Having worked in logistics early in my career, I learned that policy changes can disrupt shipping. Every company is trying to get their product shipped before a deadline, but there is a limited number of trucks and trains available to move product. The trucking companies and railroads will prioritize loads based on a number of factors. Generally speaking, lower margin product gets prioritized lower than high margin product. This leads to delays for some products as they get passed over.
Many manufacturers are likely scrambling right now.

Wow that really sucks. I was scheduled 3/24/25 then bump up to 2/17/25 in production on 2/18/25 built on 2/19/25 and shipped on 2/19/25 I guest they were in a hurry to get as many produced and shipped before those tariffs kicked in. When I last check with my dealer she was as of two days ago at the rail junction point in Kansas. Hopefully she has move closer to New York these pass few days. I have not yet gotten an e-mail from Ford about any delay. I am hoping it does not apply to vehicles already in the USA.
So sorry to hear this for you can you hold out a little longer? Delivery is schedule for me between 3/4/25 - 3/10/25.

Did the dealer say it is still at the factory in Mexico or in the USA in another state on the rail? if it is in USA how far away? Could they arrange for another dealer to flat bed it to you? just don't want to see you lose out on what you ordered

Unfortunately my Plan B is in effect -

mine delayed till 3/9 to 3/15 and that can happen again...
Was hoping to snag a dealer stock order after having mine totaled no such luck . one more availability hunt and then I'm moving on .... wonder what i'll be driving next week . My front floor mats fit an Escape I believe

Not a tough crowd...just frustrated with it all....2nd build...1st one took 5 months, then was "accidentally" damaged in transport...switched to 25'...problems started right after ordering on this one..now a 5-6 week delay again... Not sure.I'm going to wait six weeks to only be told another problem came up...

Understood if you had a 2024 damaged already and have been on the wait. I would give it the 3-4 weeks as the final straw. I'm really enjoying my 2025 and getting bumped into one might be a blessing in disguise for you.
