Got my confirmation today. XLT Hybrid in Area 51. First one to place an order at my dealership (that wasn't a holdover from 2022)!

I text an order request to my sales rep. I thought we could try it out for an additional business vehicle. It's not much risk, a write off and a low fuel consuming vehicle to use if needed.

May switch to XLT simply because of the higher % allotment of XLT (59%) over XL (15%) since already behind the 8 ball with ordering the hybrid (35%) instead of the gas (65%)......

2023 hybrid Lariat with CP, lux, and black appearance package in Hot Pepper Red. I actually ordered two, one from Mullinax Ford in Mobile, AL, and one from Joe Bullard Ford in Grove Hill, AL. I'll purchase whichever one comes in first. Identical builds. Both confirmed by Ford emails on 16 Sept.

I was think/reading the same thing last night. I may need to switch my order to the XLT. I received the order confirmation email yesterday afternoon.

Ordered my Area 51 Hybrid Lariat, with CP and black appearance package last night! Got my email after walking out of the dealership. Now we wait and pray.

For me it's the perfect level of needs vs wants at a cheaper price. I too thought about bumping to the XLT in hopes of a more likely or quicker build - but I refuse to pay the 2200 for an interior I like less, and standard features that have little value for me.

If the XL doesn't get built, it'll probably be my first and last time ordering a Ford. I'll find an older 4Runner or Lexus GX460 and drive that for a few years until EVs become easier and cheaper to buy.

Think customers including me might be in for a wait because of the black appearance package - hope I’m wrong- reordered a Area51 lariat with all sorts of constraints but since I’ve waited about a year why not wait a little longer.

Got my confirmation yesterday for my '23 Hybrid Lariat in Cyber Orange with Black Appearance, Lux, CP360, and CP360 Assist packages. The CO with BAP should look absolutely awesome!
