And be sure to tell us all , in detail what the dealer finds !
Agree! Not only for the safety of the OP, but also the Maverick Owners who are at risk of potentially defective brake logic.

Then again, it just may be operator error on the part of the OP. That happens to me all the time on this forum. I thought the Rear Passenger Alert” setting shut of the seatbelt chiming. Luckily my kid enjoyed camping in the garage overnight in a locked truck last week.

No issues with mine. Only ever activates when on a slope and in P. Handy.

As my video shows in post #11
Yes, in the video you can hear the roll back against the parking pawl.
Even on an steep incline, my parking brake never automatically activates. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m set up the same way.

I almost always put in park & manually set my parking brake before lifting off brake pedal. If I lift off brake before setting the parking brake - my truck inches back slightly until the transmission “pawls” stop the truck. Not at all good for the transmission!

What is your issue with me? Why do you have such a major problem with me making posts on this forum? Is it that why this forum was designed? To interact and ask questions and express your frustrations or your successes or whatever it may be? Why do you go out of your way to try to crap on me? Is it something that makes you feel better? Do you have some underlying concerns that we should know about?

What ever happened to the seat issues and the radio issues and the base model issues and some other issues, I forgot.

Look Synner, I consider YOU a fellow forum friend. I would easily jokingly diabolically insult a friend - but NEVER a complete stranger. Just the way I am, sorry.

Seriously - it has nothing to do with your weight:)

Your threads are repetitive, they are full of complaints that you don't take any input on, and you've said you're selling your Maverick only to come back and complain about a new ghostly problem.

I'm not @Chops but I assume that is what smacks most MTC members the wrong way....

Not exactly. First post was specifically about the seats not working. Second post was about a solution I thought was gonna work (Bronco Sport seats). Third was coming to the final realization that I would need to trade it in. 5th post was about ALL BASE LEVEL seats on Ford - NOT specifically the Maverick. This post is about the parking break sensitivity.

So please tell me how they are repetitive.

There is also something that our Lord gave us the ability to do when we don't like something....Scroll by...not jump on the thread and complain about it.
