It would appear that a goodly number of Maverick owners are OG! ........ And by OG I mean, OLD GEEZERS! 🤣
Well if you want to call yourself an OG you should at least call yourself a SOG, SMART OLD GEEZER🤣

Hi everyone! I just turned 74 on Friday the 13th and my husband is 71. We traded in both our vehicles (a 2018 F-150 and a 2019 Eco-sport) in June of 2022 when we picked up our brand new 2022 Maverick Lariat 4X4 Eco-Boost. We ordered the gas version instead of the Hybrid because at that time, the hybrid didn't come with all-wheel drive and we live in New England, so it's handy for the snow & ice. We haven't regretted the decision, not even once. Both of us love the truck, it drives like a car and yet there's plenty of room in the bed and also under the back seats. After having it well over a year now, we finally hit 5000 miles last month! LOL I too wish it had come out maybe 20 years ago, but better late than never!
A belated Happy Birthday! I have a friend who also shares a Friday the 13th birthday!

Wondering if OP has kept track of the truck colors in this group🤔 I’m wondering which color is the most popular among all of us🤔

66 here☺
My new Mav is approx #22 in the long list of cars/trucks I have owned over the years. This includes 3 Mustangs and 2 F-150s.
The oddest car being a 1962 (as I recall) SAAB 96 w a 2 stroke engine; prob the ugliest vehicle ever made LOL
SAABs were always form follows function 🤪
Did you know that the engine that replaced the two stroke was a V-4 Ford😳 Through the years SAAB used quite a few engines from other manufacturers.

I did read that somewhere… that thing was almost an embarrassment to drive around! My gramps loved it tho; he was a no frills kinda guy. A car was purchased for one thing - to get you where you need to go… end of story!!!!

Hello all. I just turned 68 and still working in IT. I sold my Toyota MR2 and Tacoma and bought my 2023 Maverick Lariat Lux CP360 hybrid atlas blue. Just 1000 miles on it so far. Enjoying driving it very much. Max mileage on a drive in town was 65 mpg! Average is 40.

I used to make calls by cranking our phone that had two very large dry cells next to it for power. The operator named Tillie would answer and ask what two digit number I wanted (our town had only 350 people). She used the central office switchboard to connect me to who I wanted to talk to. In the 60s they brought in dial phone service with party lines.

Shows I watched on a black and white TV were Ed Sullivan Show, Rawhide, I Love Lucy, The Wild Wild West, Bewitched, Jack LaLane, Truth or Consequences, and Jeopardy when I was home sick from school.

I'm 62, decided to downsize from my 2010 Tundra. Ordered a 23 Lariat hybrid w/360. Was concerned wouldn't be built, so grabbed a 22 Lairat Eco off the lot with 3k ADM. 33k OTD, November 22. Got vin for my 23 in February. Sold 22 Eco in March for 36.5k. Got my 23 hybrid April 20th.
Enjoy the maverick, comfortable , good on gas, easy to maneuver and park. Zero issues so far.

I’ve read every post on this thread. Haven’t been able to reply to as many of them as I’d like since I’ve got arthritis and dupryten in both hands.

Howdy, I too was in IT for our local school district. I taught myself while holding down a teaching position. I loved the hardware , didn’t care for the software. Only used e-mail and created a few word documents. I was our only tech for about 10 years. With 12 campuses I stayed busy. Finally we expanded and got 3-4 young guns that was book smart and knew the software, so I ended up inheriting all the hardware repairs. But arthritis and dupuytren’s contracture forced me to retire at 62.
