Solar "panel" many not be the most accurate term. Modern solar cells are nearly paper thin. The bulky panel around them is only for mounting support and protection. Applied directly to the truck/cap, they don't need support. I would be more concerned with how they will hold up in a hailstorm with no plexiglass cover on top of them.
Triple coat ceramic "flex" cover on them?

Sorry I don't like it. I already have a velocity blue Mav with Snugtop/Leer! Needed the ceiling to transport bigger items. This sleeker look removes a lot of room and functionality.

That is a headbangers nightmare
Probably only once!

Thought toppers posted previously were distractive to the Maverick lines, but I'd strongly consider this one. Looks like they pulled off the bed trim, sanded it down and painted it matching truck color. Like the one piece side window, hoping it opens. Adding a roof rack to the cab and 1 to the topper should work for hauling kayak or canoe.

If anyone runs across a price, please post here.

I like the cap better than others. But I don't like the cap on the Maverick. I think it detracts from the look of the truck. Function is good.

And makes it look like a sled. Like my old Ranger, which I named “The Silver Sled.”

Great looking Maverick and I love the low profile bed cap. I like the idea of solar panels, but like others, capability, use, and storage details would be appreciated.

Sema should be interesting this year and I wish I could attend.

I'd be curious to see this cap in black to contrast with the body color. May define the truck outline enough for it not to look like a Flex.

Looks familiar
All Lariats should have painted tailgate handle
As in we should get it done, or it should come painted ? Mine is not, manufactured in September '22. Not really upset about it but curious if it should of been painted.

Well to each their own. In this color it sort of looks like a hearse to me. Hmm, hopefully not because I am getting up in years a bit.................

Ford doesn’t but they should paint them… it’s the same handle as the Ranger and those come painted (on the higher trims)

It looks nice. Not what I am interested in (a cheap functional small truck), but nice looking.

The solar looks like a wrap. Even if it is real, it would mostly add style, no real usable function. Not criticizing, it is a style choice, just like everything else on the truck.

The cap is too small for me, but I like the style of this one more than any other I have seem on the Maverick. The Maverick really doesn't lend itself to caps very well.

The copy editor for the sign should be fired.

Same. The other, higher cap makes the truck look like one of the new crossover-based hearses. It’s very odd.

I like my trucks capless.
